Eclectic items and details in any interior decoration will greatly improve the overall appeal of the décor. A famous designer with such creative mind alongside impeccable taste could create a beautiful décor for a simple apartment. A vintage style apartment in Paris that is owned by Martin Grant is the actual example of decent creativity, and taste in combination with flea market finds. Well, there are souvenirs and various textiles added to the décor as well. They might well be so different from one another, but the overall look of the décor is nothing but nice.

The apartment is located in an old building from the 17th century at the Le Haut Marais. It was just renovated by the previous owner upon the arrival of Martin Grant. It gets his amazing touches here and there for the better appeal of the décor. Everything inside the apartment is painted in white to be the so-called blank canvas for the décor. Wooden beams are the only parts left as they are to deliver a bit of English pub accent with a varnished finish of the beams. The doors were sanded and oiled for an entirely new look.

Overall within the interior of the apartment, it is harmonious and eclectic at the same time. A mix of different things may just be weird for some people. In this apartment of Martin Grant, those different things can be working together really well of one another creating a decent appeal. The main idea is simple according to Grant. The simple and minimalist background of the interior is then combined with antique and old items full of cultural and textural influences. Within the interior, there are Scandinavian style sofas, Gio-Ponti chairs, and even one-legged tables. Furthermore, there are any artistic photographs as well as artworks all over the décor as a result of exchanges done by Grant with his friends. Accentuating the décor further have been done by adding more items there such as Willy Rizzo table lamps, Luxor vases, delicate ceramics, pretty paperweights, anemone shells as well as some apothecary bottles displayed in a cabinet. It is clear that many old items can be combined with modern décor to create a unique combination. Those who love gaming may well be creating a display of classic gaming consoles in their interior decor, right?
